Open Cinema teaches participants the skills required to make creative short films based on their own ideas and experiences. Resulting films are submitted to and often programmed at film festivals, enabling participants to publicly present and receive acknowledgement for their work. Open Cinema currently offers four Filmmaking Programmes, which can be participatory or fully produced by our in-house filmmakers:
Make your first film, and acquire a range of life and media skills along the way.
Make a film advancing the policy objectives of your organisation, for leaders, supporters, peers and the public.
Learn how to make films, build your life and media skills, and sell commissions for future films.
A series of micro-films enabling participants to report on their journeys of change, through a given project.
